“ I went here last week with my girlfriend and can honestly say these are the best dumplings ever!! Do no walk run to this place it's delicious! We had the pork and shrimp dumplings both were amazing. Plus, the service is super fast and friendly. Will definitely come here again. ”
“ They sell frozen dumplings and other goods (green onion pancakes) which are a freezer staple and perfect to have on hand when you don't have as much time to cook. High quality, flavorful dumplings. The packs are sizeable and there is a generous amount of meat in each dumpling. The dough has the perfect chewiness (the handmade feel) and keeps its integrity when cooked. You just say which packs you want and they get it for you quickly. Definitely better than frozen dumplings at a grocery store! ”
“ The dumplings here are excellent. We got the potstickers, wonton and the soup dumplings. They are an excellent value and they come frozen. When I cook them on the steamer or pan fry them I they rival Din Tai Fung! Just remember to bring a cooler if you buy a lot of them. ”
“ Yummy Dumpling is a lifesaver. Didn't have time to go to the store? Yummy Dumpling. Too tired to cook? Yummy Dumpling. Craving dumplings? Yummy Dumpling! These lil nuggets are made with love and have perfectly kneaded skins filled with juicy filling. I love to load up on a bunch of these and keep them in the freezer. My go to flavors are pork and chive as well as pork and corn. You won't go wrong supporting these lovely aunties while enjoying superb dumplings! ”
“ The dumplings are as yummy as advertised! We've been buying dumplings from here since 2020 and they're still the best we've had in the city. They have three great veggie options, my favorite being the black fungus w/ egg and shiitake dumplings. The scallion pancakes are also SO good when fried up at home! Super thin and tons of wonderfully flaky layers. Note: this place is take-out only. There's a little table at the doorway where you order and take the frozen dumplings to go. ”
“ More dumplings..they offer them frozen..hadn't actually stopped by..pork with napa cabbage and a beef pancake..amusing to the funny bone...the beef pancake was fun and large portion ”
“ Look, I'm not one to gatekeep my favorite places, but I'd be lying if I said this review wasn't long overdue. However, I can assure you that it had nothing to do with not wanting people to find out about this place. Besides, it's far too late for that, even if that was the case, given all of Yummy Dumpling's sister locations. Rather, it's because I've been coming here for long, it doesn't even occur to me at this point to stop and take a photo of their menu or the things that I've tried. Which is a real shame because nearly everything they sell tastes so good! Now, if you've ever been to King of Noodles, Kingdom of Dumpling, Dumpling Empire in South SF, or any of their other sister locations that have sprouted up over the years (they all have such regal names), you'll be all too familiar with the frozen goodies that Yummy Dumpling has to offer. From their wontons and dumplings to their potstickers and green onion pancakes (and more), everything they sell here is homemade and is the same as what you'll find at any of their restaurants. In fact, on more than one occasion, I've even see workers carrying over trays of stuff from here to King of Noodles across the way. As easy as it is to nutshell what Yummy Dumpling has to offer though, it also undersells all that you can get here. Across the countless number of times I've been here, I've managed to check out bunch of their offerings, but I know there is still plenty that I've yet to try. Partially because those stragglers haven't tickled my fancy as much, but mostly because, at this point, it's hard for me to not get my usual favorites - the PORK DUMPLINGS W/ NAPA CABBAGE (plump, meaty), the SHANGHAI SOUP DUMPLINGS (luscious and porky), and the PORK WONTONS WITH SHRIMP (tender skins, flavorful). Along with my go-to favorites, I've also tried their CHICKEN DUMPLINGS WITH CORN, GREEN ONION PANCAKES, AND PORK POTSTICKERS. None of these are as good as my favorites (though, the potstickers just missed the cut), but they are pretty solid in their own right and far better than whatever frozen varieties you'll find in the freezer section at Asian markets. The one thing about Yummy Dumpling that I'm not as fond of anymore is that, ever since COVID, they no longer allow customers inside the store (you order off the menu at the doorway and they will bring it to you). It makes complete sense, as there are workers inside making everything, but I miss perusing through their freezer chest myself. Also, the menu seems slimmer than it used to be, but all of their best/main offerings are still available, so hard to say what may have been dropped. Regardless, even though Yummy Dumpling may cost a few bucks more than the mass produced stuff you'll find elsewhere, it's worth splurging to get the tastier, homemade stuff! ”
“ Quick update These were delicious Pork with chives Chicken w spinach Chicken and corn Shrimp w chives ”
“ These dumplings are still the best, they have reopened the doors at their original location, and they now accept Venmo ("yummydumpling" under businesses, don't forget to tip the workers folding dumplings all day long) as well as cash. I still stand by my recommendations of black fungus (delish for everyone, not just vegetarians!), and lamb (try it with this dipping sauce: soy sauce and chopped cilantro and/or scallions, plus a little black Chinese vinegar, sesame oil, and simple syrup, and chili sauce/pepper flakes). Though I've honestly liked every dumpling flavor I've tried, as well as the other items. ”
